Privacy Policy
Pulse (the website at quietuplink.com, referred to as "we", "us", "our") is a pre-launch waitlist site for an upcoming monitoring product. This policy describes what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information we collect
- Email address — only when you submit a waitlist form. Stored at Formspree (our form-processing provider) and forwarded to our internal email.
- Anonymous usage data — page views, referrer, browser language, and approximate country (from IP). Collected via GoatCounter, which does not use cookies and does not store personally identifying data.
We do not collect, store, or process any other personal data on this site.
2. How we use it
- To notify you by email when Pulse opens for signups.
- To understand which content and traffic sources are working — strictly aggregated, never per-individual.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We do not run advertising. There are no third-party advertisers or data brokers in our stack.
3. Third parties that process your data
- Formspree (formspree.io) — receives and stores your waitlist email until we export it. Their privacy policy governs how they handle it on their side.
- GoatCounter (goatcounter.com) — receives anonymous, cookie-free analytics events. They cannot identify you personally.
4. Cookies and local storage
We do not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or fingerprinting. The only browser storage used by this site is a small local entry that remembers your dark / light mode preference. That preference never leaves your browser.
5. Your rights
Wherever you are, you may request:
- A copy of any personal data we hold on you (your email address, if you joined the waitlist).
- Deletion of your email from our waitlist.
- Correction of any data you believe is inaccurate.

If you are in the EU / UK, you have rights under the GDPR. If you are in California, you have rights under the CCPA. Both are covered by the above process.
6. Data retention
We keep your email until one of the following happens, whichever comes first:
- You ask us to delete it.
- Pulse opens to public signup, at which point we migrate your email into our product database under a regular product account (and a new, product-specific privacy policy).
- 24 months pass with no product launch — at which point we delete the waitlist automatically and start over.
7. Security
Email storage is delegated to Formspree, which uses TLS in transit and standard at-rest encryption. We do not store credit card information, passwords, or any other sensitive data on this site.
8. Children
This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.
9. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy materially, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, post a notice on the homepage. The dated version on this page is the authoritative version.
